They have an impressive product portfolio, with a significant drug development pipeline & clinical trials across a range of therapy areas. This company has a strong presence in Ireland with manufacturing operations and corporate offices.

About the Position

The Site Quality Director will be based in Limerick at their Biotechnology plant. The hiring manager is looking for someone who is Quality minded with demonstrated leadership capabilities and passionate about GMP compliance. The purpose of the role is to work cross-functionally to drive activities that will build inspection readiness and ensure a state of GMP compliance.

Key Responsibilities 

  • To promote a Quality culture onsite
  • To lead and manage quality teams across various levels
  • Lead and support when regulatory inspections and internal audits are being conducted
  • To support all areas of Quality for successful production onsite

Experience/Requirements 

  • A BSc / MSc in Science, Engineering or related
  • 10+ years industry experience within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Quality space
  • People management / leadership experience
  • QP qualification desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - fluent English speaker
  • Strong influencing skills, highly organised and action-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills
  • Ability to be based onsite
