About the Company
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Global Healthcare group with multiple sites across Ireland. They develop, manufacture and supply a range of Pharmaceuticals, Biologics, Medical Devices and Diagnostics Globally. They have a presence in Ireland with multiple manufacturing operations and commercial offices. Due to success and expansion plans at their Biologics facility in Ireland, they are hiring a number of
Senior Engineer
roles to support their growth.
About the Position
In this role you will be a key part of this site's expansion over the next few years as they roll out a new mAbs campus. You will build close relationships and partner with the Project Managers for the build and gain knowledge on the new systems being installed. You will oversee the Commissioning and Validation and carry that knowledge into the live operations.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
Co-ordination of outside service contractors and ensuring that they comply with GMP and safety regulations on site.
Evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.
Completion of change control activities to ensure utilities are continuously improved.
Technical review of equipment drawings and P&IDs.
Completion of deviations on utilities including impact assessment, root cause analysis, and corrective action determination.
Using lean and continuous improvement techniques you will be tasked with cost saving activities across the facilities.
Generation, approval and control of engineering documentation.
Comply with and support EHS activities on site.
Experience/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
At least 3 years of experience as working on utilities/production equipment in the Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry.
Strong understanding of quality system requirements for Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry
Previous experience with Water for Injection, Purified Water, HVAC, Autoclaves, Process Gasses and Steam boilers a distinct advantage.
Remuneration Package
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
