Financial Reporting Assistant Manager

 

Our client a global Financial Services company based in Dublin are recruiting a Financial Reporting Assistant Manager within their team. This is a new position due to growth from new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan the accounts preparation/audit process.
  • Liaise regularly with clients and auditors.
  • Review financial statements and underlying files, to ensure timely sign off and filing.
  • Monitor compliance with regulations and accounting standards.
  • Resolve any issues arising in the accounts preparation/audit process.
  • Implement and update Financial Reporting Procedures.
  • Manage, coach and motivate staff.
  • Engage in the training and personal/technical development of staff.

Experience/Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience with Big 4 Practice or Financial Services industry
  • Experience within Funds/ investment and asset management preferred.
  • 0-1 year+ people management experience preferred
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
