About the Company
Representative body working across Ireland. Brightwater are extremely pleased to be supporting on this role exclusively. This role will suit someone with a broad compliance background that may have worked in a consultancy or advisory capacity previously and really enjoys relationship management.
About the Position
The successful candidate will provide advisory services to financial institutions across ROI and Northern Ireland,
Key Responsibilities
Provide high quality and accurate compliance advice
Liaising with Regulators, SME's and other stakeholders on emerging compliance issues
Drafting compliance plans and audit papers for members
Drafting compliance briefing documents and publishing compliance updates
Telephone and email advisory support as required to members
Management of direct reports
Develop, maintain and disseminate compliance template policies, procedures and other relevant documentation to members.
Develop and review compliance guidance, procedures and other relevant documentation for review by the Head of Risk and Compliance
Research upstream compliance requirements and communicate these to members in concise, tailored regulatory updates.
Experience/Requirements
Relevant third level qualification - compliance/risk/financial services, business
A recognised compliance qualification
Experience in financial services, ideally the credit union sector
Sound knowledge of ROI and NI financial services legislative and regulatory frameworks is desirable
Knowledge of credit union regulatory frameworks is advantageous
Strong relationship management skills
Remuneration Package
Perm role, hybrid working, x2 days in Dublin office. Salary banding is €60 - €70k and benefits to include healthcare subsidy (50% VHI) and pension apply.
