Technology Delivery Admin (Insurance Systems) - Hybrid

About the Company

My exclusive client is an extremely well-resourced start up in the Life and Pensions industry space, aiming to become a true market challenger offering new digital financial products throughout Ireland.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of all back office systems which support business operations across the life company. Working collaboratively with 3rd party suppliers ensuring that all supplier offerings are assembled and integrated to support all stakeholders in an efficient and automated manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of maintenance and change to the Policy Admin System estate (PAS, Document composition, data feeds, upstream and downstream integrations etc).
  • Ensure Policy Admin systems provide the highest level of experience to internal and external users.
  • Work collaboratively with other business units (customer, operations, risk and compliance, distribution channels) to ensure the Policy Admin system estate meets the needs of the business
  • Work collaboratively with the other members of the CTO function to ensure the Policy Admin systems meet the non-functional requirements (reliability, performance, security, supportability) of the business.
  • Work collaboratively with 3rd party suppliers of SaaS to ensure Policy Admin systems integrate seamlessly to meet the functional and non-functional needs of the business
  • Communicate effectively to ensure clarity of requirements, designs and solutions across all stakeholders
  • Take personal responsibility for the delivery of technology change which is on time, on budget and quality-assured.

Experience/Requirements

  • Good understanding of how technology is used in the delivery of Life Insurance and broader financial services
  • Significant IT delivery experience
  • An excellent understanding of web technologies, web services and Cloud provided SaaS and PaaS
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment
  • Strong Communication and influencing skills
  • A relevant Third Level IT qualification
