Brightwater Executive is delighted to be retained by a leading global financial services organisation for the appointment of their Global Senior Human Resources Business Partner role.
Based out of their Dublin office, the ideal candidate will have a strong background ideally within financial services with a solid appreciation of working within a large-scale matrix organisation.
This is a key strategic HR appointment for their team. A broad HR Business Partnering background with a solid background working within a multi-jurisdictional teams will be ideal.
This person will be a key HR advisor across a number of their global functions and their Executive Leadership team members within these functions.
Key responsibilities will be to:
- Drive and implement the HR Strategy that closely supports the organisation’s business goals
- Provide proactive advisory servicing and support to the senior business leaders, driving improved team performance and organisational changes. Developing and leading out on a number of HR change programmes and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of employment strategies, policies, plans and processes
- Influence the development of HR policies, processes and procedures and the delivery of effective practices in key people management areas, e.g. engagement, learning and development and performance management
- Ensure the alignment with the organisations values and behaviours to support the achievement of business objectives
- Ensure their employee value proposition is deployed effectively throughout the career journey of their employees.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretations.
- Ensure and maintain an in-depth knowledge of country-specific legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Establish effective relationships with assigned management teams to develop, support and coach team/s where needed
The ideal candidate profile:
- Ideally 12 - 15 years + of experience in a broad HR role working within a global matrix team structure.
- A sector background & experience in financial services ideally and / or regulated multinational environment.
- Bachelor’s degree either in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s degree in HR or Business desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrable track record in building highly effective and trustful relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Commercially astute with strong empathy and a deep appreciation of cross jurisdictional and cross functional teams and team cultures
- Holds a CIPD accreditation or eligibility for CIPD accreditation (desirable)
- Strong knowledge and experience with HR best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools.
