Senior IT Project Manager

About the Position
This role will deliver strategic projects that support revenue generation, new product launch and digital programs.
You will operate as a key liaison between global business functions and technology professionals and will translate the strategic needs of those functions into technical requirements. You will also ensure that all project stakeholders are aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver multiple complex IT Projects in parallel
- Map and define phases, deliverables, key milestones and sufficiency criteria for each stage in the project lifecycle
- Establishing and meeting agreed to commitments with a constant eye for improvement.
- Ensure clarity on the standards and criteria to be set in each phase of the project life cycle for both the product and the process
- Planning, scheduling, resource allocation and staffing, and budgeting
- Define project boundaries, establish goals and objectives. Ensuring there is a clear business case which can provide a basis for decision-making
- Systematically identifying, assessing and managing risks, issues, assumptions and decisions.
- Ensure Project methodologies (Waterfall and Agile), Project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed
- Drive continuous improvement
- Engage with executive level stakeholders across the business
- Foster strong cross-functional working relationships
Experience/Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience, running multiple complex IT Projects
- Knowledge of Financial Services/ Insurance Industry Sector an advantage
- Demonstrate experience of both waterfall and agile project delivery
- Project Management Training such as PMI a distinct advantage
- Top-Tier Consulting experience a distinct advantage
Remuneration Package
€95,000 + bonus and benefits
