First Line Risk Assurance Specialist
About the Position
You will join a team responsible for testing of Third Party Management (TPM) controls and adherence to the TPM, Strategic Relationship Management (SRM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Exit Standard. This is a first line risk assurance role and the successful candidate will play a crucial role by delivering the audit plan with direction from the Assurance managers/department head and engagement with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development of first line audit plans for TPM through the development and implementation of a robust risk assessment process.
Execute audit reviews including defining the scope of reviews, test plans, execution of testing and final reports. Complete issue assurance testing to validate that remedial actions have been implemented effectively.
Actively build relationships, including with other assurance functions, to ensure you keep abreast of best practices and assurance developments.
Be a strong team player with the proven ability to work with others to accomplish common objectives.
Be a self-starter with the energy and drive to learn to use technology to improve processes and solve problems under their own direction.
Experience/Requirements
Have a proven understanding and experience of financial services industry products and regulations, specific knowledge of areas within COO and/or TPM would be an advantage.
Have a proven experience of Risk Management in a Banking environment and associated risks, clear understanding and knowledge of risk management and audit methodologies.
