HR Generalist

New opportunity for a HR Generalist to work as part of a busy HR team in a leading public sector body based in West Dublin.  In this role you will be responsible  for delivering day to day operational HR support mainly in the areas of  recruitment and employee relations. This is a hybrid role with 2 or 3 days per week on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment processes working  with line managers to create appropriate job descriptions, adverts and interview processes. Update and manage all notice boards and recruitment forums. 

  • Assist the HR/ Payroll Assistant with the onboarding process (Contract, garda vetting, referencing and induction)  . 

  • Act as the first line of support for all line managers in relation to employee relations queries, delivering the highest level of support in adherence to employment law, company policy and best practice as advised by the HR Manager. 

  • Manage the full investigatory cycle (disciplinary/Grievance and B&H) including note taking and report writing.

  • Create and update HR policies as required.  

  • Manage and maintain the HRIS  

  • Manage the full absence portfolio including weekly reporting. 

  • Produce weekly and monthly HR reports for Payroll. 

Experience/Requirements

  • 3rd Level  HR Qualification and CIPD certified

  • At least two years of experience in a generalist role.

  • Strong IT skills. and previous experience of working with HR IT Systems. 

  • Ability to adapt to fast paced change.  

  • A desire to deliver an exceptional HR service. 

Remuneration Package

€43 -47,000 per annum
