Accounts Payable Specialist
About the Company
Leading city centre based Financial Services company are hiring an experienced AP Specialist to join their team. Flexible hybrid working with a great culture. Initially being offered as FTC and has the potential to become a permanent role.
About the Position
In this role you will coordinate and monitor all accounts payable, employee expense and payroll accounting activities in respect of the relevant Group functions. This will include ownership of Vendor reconciliations and control accounts. Attention to detail while achieving set deadlines are the essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of the Accounts Payable process for relevant Group entities to ensure timely and accurate supplier payments.
Responsible for timely payment and accounting of monthly payrolls for relevant entities
Review and payment of employee expense claims
Weekly control and reconciliation of all payments and related bank transfers according to strict deadlines.
Monitor liquidity across the relevant bank accounts.
Support Month end close activities
Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Be flexible and provide support across Group Finance for all Ad-hoc tasks and project work when required.
Experience/Requirements
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Experience of SAP or similar ERP preferable
Good experience in Excel and other Microsoft packages essential
