Global logistics firm with over 30,000 employees worldwide and offices across Ireland. This role will be based in their South Dublin office.
Provide overall HR leadership and guidance to the business on matters such as compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, training and development, recruitment/retention and performance management.
As a full member of the Senior Management Team, contribute in a positive and energetic manner to the overall development and future direction of the company.
Manage and lead the HR team to ensure best HR Practices and compliance.
Partner with business managers to optimise performance, provide coaching and development opportunities and tools.
Be the main point of contact for escalated HR issues including redundancies, settlements and ER or IR issues.
Advise management team on HR issues and changes to employment law & employee contracts.
Work on and develop HR budgets and forecasts and ensure they are maintained.
Prepare monthly HR Forecasts.
A degree in HR or related discipline, with CIPD accreditation.
At least five years’ experience as a HR Generalist or HR manager in the logistics or supply chain industry.
Exceptional stakeholder management experience.
Ability to lead and develop a team
Be approachable, personable, with a high standard of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
