HR Manager

Global logistics firm with over 30,000 employees worldwide and offices across Ireland.  This role will be based in their South Dublin office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall HR leadership and guidance to the business on  matters such as compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, training and development, recruitment/retention and performance management.
    As a full member of the Senior Management Team, contribute in a positive and energetic manner to the overall development and future direction of the company.

  • Manage and lead the HR team to ensure best HR Practices and compliance.

  • Partner with business managers to optimise performance, provide coaching and development opportunities and tools.

  • Be the main point of contact for escalated HR  issues including redundancies, settlements and ER or IR issues.

  • Advise management team on HR issues and changes to employment law & employee contracts.

  • Work on and develop HR budgets and forecasts and ensure they are maintained.

  • Prepare monthly HR Forecasts.

Requirements:
  • A degree in HR or related discipline, with CIPD accreditation.
  • At least five years’ experience as a HR Generalist or HR manager in the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Be approachable, personable, with a high standard of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
