About the Company

My client, an Irish owned aircraft leasing technology company who are well established and work with some of the biggest names in aviation have an excellent opportunity for a Senior .Net Developer to join their team. Offering a full remote role and the opportunity to work on modern technology stack and projects with some of the biggest aviation names in the industry. They are fast-growing Software supplier in the Aviation sector that is transforming the way Aircraft Leasing Companies and Airlines Manage their business with regards to Asset Management, Aircraft transitions and Document Storage.

They offer Aircraft transition software tools to a full suite of software services to the sector covering project management tools, market leading asset management software, secure document storage, technical services, and all associated administration.

In 2018, they launched the Cloud Asset Management system, the most modern and comprehensive system of its kind in the market. 

About the Position

As a Software Developer, you will have open opportunities to contribute to the full stack of our Aviation cloud based application platform from the user interface, through the API, persistence layer and deployment. It offers a high level of autonomy, working within an agile Kanban environment with a continuous release to production delivery flow.

Technology stack: C#, ASP.NET, MVC5, Vue, DevExpress, JavaScript, MS SQL Server

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing new Modules on our existing AMS system
  • Building new Bring to market offerings
  • Designing and building web-based client-side applications
  • Integrating 3rd party components and systems into the platform
  • Optimising, profiling, and debugging software components
  • Communicating with our customers, and vendors in an effective manner
  • Supporting and mentoring junior developers as well as leading knowledge sharing exercises
  • Working with Azure cloud platform, Azure DevOps, AWS, Salesforce and other software containerisation architectures
  • Using and maintaining our internal bug tracking and reporting tools
  • Working with the team/CTO on planning, prioritising and estimations

Experience/Requirements

  • B.Sc/B.Eng/Masters in CS, engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years in a professional software engineering environment using C# and ASP.Net
  • Capable of working independently under the direction of CTO
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience and knowledge of RDBMS databases – SQL Server, development of Stored Procedures, Indexing and optimization
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with automated tests (unit, functional) and continuous integration
  • Willingness to learn and use good coding techniques/practices
  • Knowledge of software design patterns such as the SOLID principles
  • SCM using Git and Git workflows
Preferred
  • Understanding of continuous delivery and experience in automated deployments
  • Experience with Reporting tools like DevExpress, Crystal reports, or Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting services, DevExpress
  • Experience developing applications with ASP.NET MVC5+, Entity Framework
  • Excellent knowledge of ECMAScript 6
  • Google Vision AI OCR
  • Azure Applied AI Cognitive Search
  • Web API
  • Experience with Modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue
  • Building solutions for the Aviation industry
  • Salesforce Platform (APEX, Visualforce)
     

Remuneration Package

Full remote - offering €75-80,000 salary
