Finance Manager

Leading Pharmaceutical organisation in West Dublin are hiring a Finance Manager to join their team. Progressive organisation with a great culture. Hybrid/Flexible working.
About the Position
Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Manager of Accounting you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of certain global accounting activities for various entities. In addition, you will develop an understanding of our strategic business direction and play a key role in the future development of the function to meet the needs of a growing and changing business.
Key Responsibilities

• • Perform timely month end, quarter end and year end closing activities, responsible for the close in accordance with US GAAP, including month-end close activities for revenue, cash, prepaids, tangible and intangible assets, accruals and debt
  • Reviewing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other documents to ensure compliance
  • Statutory reporting
  • Processing of transactional taxes e.g. VAT
  • Support annual tax compliance
  • Liaison with financial planning team to understand changes in financial performance
  • Lead and mentor the finance team
  • Ensure that company financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Support deployment of SAP S/4 HANA and other systems
  • Support various projects as required

• Qualified accountant i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA
• Ideally 7+ years of PQE experience with a minimum of 3 years of management experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP essential
• Multinational/Shared service background ideally
• ERP Systems experience ideally SAP
