Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Data Management

Brightwater Technology is delighted to be partnering with one of the world’s largest Bulge Bracket banks.  The organisation is a global leader in data and technology projects.

About the Position

The Senior Project Manager will sit within the Enterprise Data Management Group.  This group is a global group of about 800 people and this role will specifically sit in the Data Ops Solutions team headed up in Dublin and with a global presence of about 600.

Enterprise Data Management is a large scale, new and growing group within the bank and the team works on big ticket projects. 

Effectively the group are the data masters for the bank, it’s an extremely interesting space and is responsible for defining how data are used. 

In this Group, you will answer questions like: what is the best target operating model, how do we distribute data, how do we use the data and how do we build the products. 

The role will sit between technology and the business the role requires a high-level strategic thinker.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to required specifications.
• Lead end to end project management activities.
• Ensure work is performed within the program and project management policies, standards, procedures and frameworks.
• Measure and monitor project actuals, forecasts and budgets.
• Follow financial standards & processes (e.g. monthly external revenue accruals, software capitalization, procurement etc.).
• Secure, lead, motivate and inspire the internal & external resources required to deliver the project.
• Establish the project governance (e.g. sponsors, approvers, stakeholders).
• Manage Project Resources.
• Liaise between the business and technology to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Provide advice on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business unit strategy.

• Ideally 10 – 12 years’ programme or project management experience
• Demonstrable and successful change management and business transformation experience
• Experience working in data transformation
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Prince 2 certification
• Experience with Operations, technology and / or financial services is beneficial

Remuneration Package
€100,000 - €130,000 + bonus and benefits
