About the Company
My client, who is based in Dublin West, are a trusted global partner to pharma and MedTech manufacturers, working to improve patient access to medicines in Europe and around the world. They are looking to add to their team a Payroll Specialist. Providing outsourced and specialised services to their clients they are growing by leveraging the strong relationships they have with 200+ of the world’s best known pharmaco-medical manufacturers across multiple geographies, enabled by cutting-edge digital technology and highly expert teams.
About the Position
The successful Payroll Specialist will work as part of the Healthcare Finance Team. The primary purpose of the role is processing monthly payroll for 700+ employees, based in Ireland and the UK, whilst ensuring completeness, accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of all tasks and inputs associated with same
Key Responsibilities
Full responsibility for the accurate preparation and processing of monthly payrolls and associated reporting.
Completion of periodic, monthly, annual and other returns, forms and payments and all related documents both for Revenue and individual employees.
Completion of any other compliance requirements.
Preparing monthly accounting journals.
Collate and analysis mileage data from TMC on a quarterly basis, to ensure BIK is calculated accurately and in line with Revenue guidelines.
Develop and maintain productive working relationship with Finance, Human Resources and stakeholders, both internal and external where required.
Provide specific management information on ad hoc basis.
Answer Payroll queries from staff.
Liaising with internal and external auditors.
Experience/Requirements
3+ years payroll
IPASS payroll course is essential.
Experience of, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Experience in working in a service driven, customer focused environment.
Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
Excellent organisation skills with ability to prioritise workload.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Team player with a positive “can do” attitude and flexibility to “do what it takes” to get job done.
Proactive, flexible and interested to work in a changing, growing and demanding environment
Excellent Excel skills required.
