About the Position

This role will focus on supporting and managing a suite of Operational HR programme to include Total Rewards, HRIS (Workday) and payroll that spans the Uniphar Group
You will manage a team of professionals that delivers an exceptional employee and manager experience. The success of the role depends on the ability to translate the goals of the businesses within the Group into compelling and robust solutions.
The role will report to the Group Finance Director and be a member of the HR Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

Systems excellence:
  • Lead the overall Workday data operations ensuring adherence to data quality metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by establishing standard operating procedures and best practices/playbooks.
  • Ensure a seamless end-to-end HR system business process delivery.
  • Manage the ongoing phases of the recently implemented HR system for the enterprise, continue to develop a comprehensive employee and manager self-service suite of resources.
  • Payroll – Supporting the newly formed Payroll COE in continuing to consolidate a number of existing payrolls and systems across the UK and Ireland
Strategic HR
  • Work with Divisional HRD’s to understand the specific business needs across their divisions and ensure that all activities at an enterprise level are fully aligned and enhance the divisions.
  • Be a change agent and lead transformational change for the enterprise.
  • Leading the development and implementation of HR processes and policies to include Hire, Onboarding, ad-hoc employee transactions and terminations.
  • Partner with HR teams to establish processes that ensure proper data governance, accuracy, and completeness.
  • As a leader in HR, invest in the growth and development of your team, peers, and function. Give your time generously so that others may learn from you.
  • Create a seamless employee experience, along with leaders, HR, and other support functions.
  • Working closely with L&D and Recruitment on HR projects and initiatives
  • Continue to develop alongside the Total Rewards Lead our Compensation and Benefits programmes and drive the performance and reward agenda across the Uniphar Group
Business Partner:
  • You will be Business Partner to Uniphar PLC supporting central functions of Finance, IT, PMO, Legal, Corporate Development
  • This role will support and lead a variety of strategic HR projects; review HR process and continuous improvement opportunities across Uniphar
  • Be the key driver of group policies and roll out across the divisions. Working alongside the HRD’s to prioritise and implement.

  • 8-10 years’ experience with at least 5 years at a senior level
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver seamless change management.
  • Delivers a high-level exceptional client service to employees, HR colleagues and others.
  • Completes tasks with accuracy and speed and has strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity.
  • Has excellent problem-solving skills
  • Digital acumen, strong knowledge of HR systems and processes
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, energetic, and ever-evolving environment
  • An ability to work in an agile way. Comfortable with ambiguity. Not afraid to forge a path.
  • Demonstrates the flexibility to meet business needs with a focus on achieving results.
  • Excellent relationship building and communication, with the ability to move between listening to, guiding and coaching others at all levels.
