My client is a global retail chain with a large chain of stores across ROI, they are one of the biggest players globally and have a great track record of promoting within. Due to growth and continued success, they are looking to hire additional accountancy talent to their team which is based in North Dublin.

About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting for debtors, payroll and prepayments
• Assisting in the preparation of statutory audits
• Accounting for multiple entities
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial accounts
• Partnering with the logistics team on cost analysis and reporting
• Assist with tax compliance.
• Balance sheet account reconciliations
• Completion of monthly reporting packs
• Assisting in the preparation of statutory audits

Experience/Requirements

• A good working knowledge of using accounts software, having experience using SAP S/4HANA would be an advantage but not essential 
• Senior Trainee or Part Qualified accountant level, training within a professional accounting body
• Experience in producing monthly accounts to corporate reporting deadlines.
• Strong excel and analytical skills
• Excellent Organisational Skills / Good Time Management – Highly organised individual. Ability to complete tasks, maintain documentation, and adhere to best practice standards. 
• Preparing accounts or working within Retail / FMCG experience would be an advantage but not essential 
• team & Collaborative Working – The ability to work closely with internal stakeholders
