Project Manager – Solar Project
 
About the Company
We are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager for Solar projects in Dublin. This an opportunity to work with one of Europe’s largest engineering companies who have a large foothold in the Irish Renewable energy sector. This consultancy manage and delivery large scale projects from the planning stage to handover and have expertise, and a successful record across Europe.
They have recently secured a number of large solar programs and this client is seeing major growth in demand for their services. They have a reputation across Europe as being one of the most successful in project delivery and are currently involved in some of Ireland's largest infrastructure projects.  This is a great opportunity to be involved in a sector that is as important to the consumer as it is to the environment.

About the Position
As the Project Manager for these programs you will have full life cycle management on a number of large renewable related construction/engineering projects across Ireland. You will have a full responsibility of your own projects and the responsibility to develop a team around you. Stake holder management is essential for this role and experience in solar programs would be a distinct advantage.
Experience/Requirements 
Within this role you will be involved in

• Project Management of large-scale Solar programs.
• Ability to create planning schedules in primavera 6.
• Team leading and team management across all areas of engineering.
• Manage team meetings and progress status updates.
• Review of exiting plans and update for the client where needed.
• Monitor the schedules and time scales regarding design and delivery.
• Manage junior engineer to ensure the project runs smoothly
• Manage subcontractors at the development stage
• Deliver information to the client in a timely manner
• Generate regular report on the project status.
• Cost, revenue and cash flow management.
• Liaise with local authorities on planning issues
• Experience in Renewable Energy projects  

• A min or 5-10 years project management experience.
• A related Engineering qualification
• You MUST be degree qualified
• Pre construction experience
• Ideally you will have experience in Utilities
• Experience in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Projects
• A self-starter and the ability to manage multiple projects as any given time.
