Senior Java Developer/ Architect- 6 months daily rate contract

The team also focuses on digital banking, payments, infrastructure, data management and technology that enhances cyber security, and risk and capital management.
About the Position
Digital Channels sits within the Global Markets organization and Global Transaction Services which provide liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, foreign exchange and commercial card services to small businesses, middle market companies, and to multinational corporations, financial institutions and governments around the world.
The global Digital Channels team deliver high profile Financial Technology initiatives such as the Global Markets and Banking API initiative, the ever changing world of payments and the power to transact anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as part of a global team delivering high profile initiatives across Digital Channels.
Digital Channels sits within the Global Banking & Markets Technology organization and Global Transaction Services which provide liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, foreign exchange and commercial card services to small businesses, middle market companies, and to multinational corporations, financial institutions and governments around the world.
The successful candidate will drive various projects. They will participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, from application design to development, particularly during the execution phase. They will work closely with team members and Business partners throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience/Requirements
-
5+ years’ Java development experience – in-depth knowledge of core Java, JEE, including Spring.

Experience of Containers and/or microservices (Preferred)

Self-starting with the ability to drive the delivery of projects from inception to completion.

Previous experience of Agile. Experience level 5-10 years.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Experience with Agile project methodologies

Experience in using software configuration management systems (e.g. BitBucket).

Ability to seek out information with little direction

Remuneration Package
€450- €600 per day depending on experience.
