Financial Accountant (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting project teams as appropriate and coordinating procurement.
Coordinating expenses, budgets, and financial information on projects.
Owning of monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
Ensure successful and on time delivery of financial reporting for the group.
Communication to the executive management team, investors, and the broader group
Preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements.
Assist in annual audit process for and project companies.
Accounts payable, bank reconciliations and cash forecasting
Full and timely compliance with regulatory, project and investor reporting requirements.
Review contracts pertaining to underlying projects, such as shareholders agreements.
Assisting in financial system improvement projects aimed at streamlining finance processes and further enhancing the financial reporting capabilities
Knowledge / Experience:
Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years post qualification experience.
Experience within a group finance preferable.
Strong technical accounting skills, including IFRS, US GAAP and Group Consolidations.
Excellent Excel and financial analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience in Renewables, Energy or Power is desirable, but not a necessity.
Ability to manage workload autonomously and effectively.
Inquisitive, detail-oriented, self-motivated.
