About the Company
Our client is a leading food Manufacturing company based in Naas and are looking to expand their demand planning team.
About the Position
Reporting into the Demand Planning Manager the successful candidate will analyse commercial forecasting from customers to balance statistic and previous year’s sales against what is forecast for the future.
Key Responsibilities
Create a consensus forecast to be used as part of the Kerry S&OP process
Manage the monthly cadence for the Demand Planning process
Generate and share reports required to provide insights and drive the demand planning process in Kerry
Champion demand planning ways of working communicating with customers and sales teams, to drive improvements to the process
Communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure outputs of demand plan are taken into consideration
Support the enablement of development projects through to launch, and identify products delists, to minimise material risk and service failures
Provide support and suggest solutions where business targets are not being realised
Attend and contribute to Supply Chain meetings as required
Train Supply Chain teams on Demand Planning best practices, use of forecasting accuracy and error measures to improve forecasting effectiveness
Experience/Requirements
Experience, ideally in a forecasting or sales and operations planning (S&OP) environment
Experience using excel to manipulate and analyse data. Experience of SAP APO, and Power BI is an advantage
Flexible approach- excellent leadership skills together with strong team ethic
Strong data analysis skills and effective communication to get action plans in place
Ability to work in a complex environment and deal with ambiguity
Strong negotiation skills with an ability to build rapport and influence across all levels in the organisation
Excellent self-management practices with a pro-active, energetic, and committed approach
Excellent presentation and report drafting skills
Ability to manage multiple streams of information optimally with attention to detail
