Mechanical Engineer – HVAC
About the Company
Our client, one of Irelands largest employers, is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC experience to delivery of a large projects related to the rail network across Ireland.
They have a new program for upgrades to all HVAC related assets across their network and this engineer will be an integral part of the team that can plan and execute this program.
This project is an essential development to their nationwide delivery, and it is paramount that they complete this project on time and on budget. You will work with a very experienced team who are experts in mechanical and electrical engineering programs projects, and you will an essential member of the team to help them to success on this program.
About the Position
Within this role you will be involved in
 

• HVAC upgrade programs across the network
• Safety Management on all projects
• Manage key relationships through the project lifecycle
• Leading the procurement of major developments
• Team leading and team management
• Design and construction review – Essential to have an understanding of design
• Responsibility for overall project delivery
• Monitor consultants design work and make recommendations where needed.
• Generate regular reports on the project status.
• Client and stake holder management.

• A min of 5 years’ experience in HVAC and building management systems  
• A related qualification in mechanical engineering.
• A strong understanding of design
• Sustainable development
• Experience in Rail
• Experience with CWMF and NEC forms of contract
• You will have a background in project delivery
• A valid driver license

Remuneration Package
Remuneration is dependent on industry experience and qualifications. This is a longer term contract role.
