Application Support Manager

They are looking to recruit an Application Support Manager to manage critical business and financial applications within their Irish operations.
As the Application Support Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of application support staff across multiple sites, developing roadmaps to ensure the business is using the most suitable and up-to-date systems, and working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate service levels are met. Additionally, you will assist in the development of strategic plans for applications, maintain compliance with policies and procedures, and manage and implement strategic project plans.

The role is a hybrid working role in their Southside Dublin office. This will be a hybrid role of 3 days at home and 2 days onsite.

Competitive salary – €75,000 – €90,000 per annum dependent on experience level

Key Responsibilities
Manage critical business applications such as bVP, OMP and Artios CAD
Manage key financial applications such as Sage, Quantum and Softworks
Manage a team of application support staff located in multiple sites
Assist with the development of strategic plans for applications to ensure the business requirements are met
Ensure compliance with local and group policies and procedures
Work with the rest of the IT management team during the audit process
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for compliance and operational tasks
Liaise with business management, internal IT and third party vendors to ensure appropriate service levels
Develop, manage and implement project plans
Key Competencies Required:
Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to manage people and processes
Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate work
Ability to understand business processes
Previous Experience
Required:
2 years+ experience in a management or leadership role
4 years+ experience in an application support role
Previous experience in a compliance-based environment (Distinct Advantage)
