About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Group Operational Risk Director with the ongoing implementation of operational risk frame work 
• Training and educating the 1st line to embed the Operational Risk Management Framework
• Developing, managing and providing oversight of multi jurisdiction regulatory requirements around Operational Risk. 
• Lead the Reporting and communication processes by managing the coordination of the necessary Risk Team inputs for the Risk Committee, Board reports and other governance for reporting as required.  
• Support the Group Operational Risk Director with inputs to the Group Solvency Self Assessment process 
• Support and challenge 1 st line activities and recommend actions and improvements as required, through target control testing and 2nd line assurance work.

Experience/Requirements

• 10 years experience in a similar role
• Enterprise Risk Management experience within an international business environment.
• Experience of working within and development of Risk Management Frameworks, and their application .
• Knowledge of Operational Resilience and practical application of regulatory expectations in a insurance business.
• Knowledge of Solvency II
