Electronics Engineer - Project Management and Manufacturing - Contract

About the Company
Working with a global leader in electronic design and manufacturing, this role will offer you the opportunity to project manage the development of new systems for the extensive product range.  
As a result of these large programs in the technology sector, our client is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to manage the delivery of a major water expansion program in Ireland. This is a remote based role, based in Ireland.
About the Position
Experience in the electronics sector is essential for this role. You will understand business management and all related aspect of running a large engineering program. You will be well versed in contracts management and have prior experience working with high profile clients and stake holders. You will have PC board design experience and long with managing teams in this area
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will

• Determine opportunities and scenarios to accelerate the portfolio delivery to a long term plan.
• Map out premium spot buys to determine exposure by product category and supplier
• Define necessary GP Eng. actions to 1) mitigate risk and to 2) migrate from a suppler and to align with the 4 interna partners groups
• Create PBU views of the above and existing coverage viz risk mitigation, supplier realignment and alignment with 4 strategic sourcing partners
• Deliver and execute procurement activities for improvement of inventory forecasting and inventory management
• Deliver and business change and communications plan, standards, and processes across the team.
• Work in the Supply Risk and Chip Strategy groups to ensure delivery
• Liaise with Procurement, Product Management and the engineering team.

Remuneration Package
This is a contract role and rates will be dependent on experience.
