About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, value, and record all equipment on offer
• Maintain a database of all stock of used equipment
• Own the used equipment process: value, repair estimate, agree repairs, monitor/record costs including warranty, manage/update promotional avenues – website etc., manage paper trail – reports; reg docs; hpi etc., agree terms of final sale & complete Acknowledgement of Order Forms
• Monitor prices and values on the used equipment market
• Attend auctions and other events where used equipment is promoted
• Purchase of Used Equipment where required
• Estimate residual values of new machines being sold by the company
• Interface with suppliers on used equipment issues and initiatives
• Be a source of information on used equipment for internal stakeholders – salespeople, management, etc.
• Manage the sale and promotion of used equipment on relevant online sites

Experience/Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in used equipment sales and promotion
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the used equipment market and industry trends
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management systems
