Scrum Master
My client is a global company with offices in Dublin City centre. They have an immediate requirement for a Scrum Master, mostly remote, to join their team for a minimum of 12 months. Strong likelihood this position will be made permanent after 12 months.

About the Position
The Scrum Master is a servant leader who enables teams to self-organize, self-manage, and deliver via effective Lean-Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams within a Release Train
• Establish team level cadence and drive team level events (e.g. sprint planning, team backlog grooming, team retrospectives, etc.) in alignment with Program level cadences established
• Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to the team to encourage adoption of good agile practices
• Be a change agent and foster a “learn by doing” environment
• Encourage and facilitate cross-team coordination and collaboration
• Remove impediments for the team(s) and escalate as appropriate
• Facilitate management of the scrum team’s dependencies between the program team and third parties, release managers, or other scrum teams
• Work cross functionally to align strategy, methodology and execution
• Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on team-level progress and quality
• Track and manage project execution in accordance with company's delivery and financial management practices

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification required.
• 3+ years experience in the Scrum Master role
• Some healthcare experience (2+ years)
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Experience working with multiple Scrum Teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.).
