Process Engineer – Dublin

About the Company
From design and engineering to construction, through to site operation and management, the company has a proven track record in the provision of Lean water and wastewater solutions that increase efficiency, reduce carbon footprint and minimize operational cost for our customers.

The ideal candidate would have an in-depth knowledge of all parts of wastewater treatment with a keen interest in process optimisation, data interpretation and management, and managing people. A postgraduate qualification (MSc or PhD) in chemical engineering, environmental or microbiological science, or a related field is required. Relevant industrial experience, with an emphasis on process safety, is preferable but not essential. This role will require interacting with all members of the operations team, contactors and stakeholders on a daily basis and will require the applicant to possess good communication and people skills. This role also requires the applicant to be proficient in document and report writing, and presenting and conducting site tours.





About the Position
The successful applicant will manage a team of sampling and odour technicians, conduct individual continuous improvement projects, and will be encouraged to undertaking training in all areas of Lean Six Sigma, 5S, Health & Safety, Process Safety, and managing people.



Experience/Requirements
Within this role you are required to have:

  • Utilities Experience.
  • Chemical Engineering degree.
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
  • Documentation & report writing skills.
  • Health & Safety Experience on site.
  • Have good inter-personal skills.
  • Valid driving licence.


Overtime rates
  • Standard Rate € 33.41/h
  • After 12 midnight: € 44.56/h
  • Sundays and bank holidays: € 44.56/h
Remuneration Package
The client offers:
  • 23 days annual leave plus all the Irish bank holidays
