Senior Hardware Engineer – Electronics – Renewable Energy
About the Company
Working with a global leader in electronic design and manufacturing, this role will offer you the opportunity to project manage the development of new systems for the extensive product range.  The products for this company are related the renewable energy sector and enable the implementation of smart grid applications along with substation and distribution automation.  
As a result of these large programs in the renewable energy sector, our client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Hardware Engineer to manage the delivery of a major technology expansion program in Ireland. This is a hybrid role based role, based in Ireland.
About the Position
Experience in the electronics sector is essential for this role. You will understand business management and all related aspect of running a large engineering program. You will be well versed in contracts management and have prior experience working with high profile clients and stake holders. Experience in the electronics sector related to the utilities industry is essential for this role. The role involves both analogue and digital design and development.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will

• Determine opportunities and scenarios to accelerate the portfolio delivery to a long term plan.

• Responsibility for the complete hardware development cycle from design through to documented release.
• Cost effective analogue and digital designs
• Schematic capture and PCB layout
• Comprehensive test and debug
• Design and development of production test equipment
• Hardware support for product manufacture
• Root cause analysis.
• Product Type Testing

Remuneration Package
This is a permanent role and remuneration will be dependent on experience. They will offer a hybrid situation to the successful candidate.
