Senior Application Engineer – UI/.NET

About the Position
You will be responsible for engineering and maintaining features and components across our backend systems and web / mobile application stack, in support of our award winning SAAS Fleet Management products. You’ll work as part of a cross-functional squad of software engineers, UX designers, QA engineers, and product owners, using agile methodologies to design and own applications that help our customers achieve good outcomes, and use feedback from these customers to extend and improve these applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in product feature implementation, both independently and in cooperation with your team
• Implement changes and new features in a manner which promotes efficient, reusable and performant code
• Liaise with product stakeholders and other teams in the organization to complete the projects on time and to the highest quality standards
• Participate in peer code reviews, manage criteria applied during code reviews
• Investigate technical issues during the full development lifecycle, including specific components in production
• Provide level of effort estimations for individual and team assignments
• Coach and mentor less experienced members of the team
• Work with solution architects to define highly detailed specifications for technical solutions
• Help shaping the team's culture and work rhythm, including the development of best practices within the team

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant discipline or six or more years of work experience.
• Design and build high performance, web based rich UI applications
• Integration of UI development with middle tier application logic, API, and data payloads
• Research and utilize new technologies on an ongoing basis
• Collaborate with Product Management, QA and cross functional team as needed
• Master level knowledge of the fundamentals of Web UI design and development
• Master level expertise and experience in Angular, NodeJS and JavaScript
• Solid expertise and experience in HTML and CSS
• 5+ years of experience building elegant web-based UI for database driven applications
• Good knowledge and work experience on .NET/C# RESTful API/Microservice Development
• Experience working with AWS platform and relational (SQL Server, Postgres etc) and NoSQL (Redis, Dynamo, etc) databases
• Proficient understanding of NGRx/Store, Jasmine & Karma
