12 Month Daily Rate Contract

They are recruiting for a Mobile QA Automation Engineer on a 12 month contract basis. About the Position

As a talented and experienced Mobile QA Automation Engineer you will join a dynamic team in the Dublin office. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, contributing to the development of key features for their award-winning SAAS platform. Your expertise in QA will be crucial as you drive the automation testing efforts for browser and mobile applications, operating within a CI/CD environment and adhering to Kanban methodologies.


Key Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and implement coded automated tests.

  • Create test cases based on functional and technical requirements.

  • Configure and monitor automation test suites within the CI/CD pipeline.

  • Collaborate closely with various teams to maintain and enhance our test automation frameworks.

  • Manage bug backlogs, triage issues, and prioritize them with stakeholders.

  • Advocate for QA, defining and upholding quality standards within your team.

  • Experience/Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-7+ years of software development experience.

  • Proficiency in agile/lean methodologies and processes, preferably Kanban or Scrum.

  • Experience in systems analysis and design, collaborating with senior engineers and architects.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Exposure to larger project and team environments, including product, application support, and operations teams.

  • A true software enthusiast with a passion for the technologies you work with.

  • Quality and results-focused, with a track record of successful project delivery, ideally in a CI/CD environment.

 

Experience/Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
Technical Skills/Experience:
Solid understanding of testing fundamentals, test case generation, smoke testing, regression, etc.
At least 3+ years of experience in coded test automation using C#.
Proficiency in using APPIUM and Visual Studio for writing coded automation tests.
Extensive knowledge of testing API, Mobile, and Responsive web applications (Web Services) using modern UI frameworks.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Kotlin or Swift.
Cross-browser testing experience.
Familiarity with test case management tools like TestRail.
Thorough understanding and experience of testing RESTful API & Microservice architectures through code-based testing.


Remuneration Package

A strong daily rate is on offer, and your initial contract will be 12 months.
