About the Company
Our client is an international Financial Services firm based in Dublin city centre and they are recruiting a Senior Manager Investment Accounting on an 18 month contract basis.

About the Position
Key Responsibilities
This person will assist in managing investment shared services at the Group level. Responsibilities encompass governance, oversight, and operational excellence.

• Ensure high-quality service management and robust governance aligned with Group Outsourcing Policy. Implement a consistent approach to overseeing outsourced service providers (OSPs) for enhanced services across the Group.
• Lead due diligence on OSP controls, reducing errors and bolstering comfort for local units.
• Manage a transparent shared service, holding accountability for deliverables monitored against set standards.
• Oversee investment accounting data, ensuring consistent, reconciled data for Local and Group Reporting. Drive data quality improvement through external sources, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing licenses. Manage efficient investment data delivery, enhancing controls and engagement.
• Lead investment operations change, ensure stakeholder communication, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead regulatory reporting for local units under various accounting frameworks (IFRS and local GAAPs).
• Maintain accurate, reconciled data and transparent supporting data access for analysis.
• Act as a point of contact for Finance, business units, and Risk teams.
• This role demands proactive leadership and regulatory compliance within investment shared services.

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)
• Experience in Investment Accounting with exposure to IFRS and Solvency II reporting preferred.
• 10 years’+ experience working in a Finance or Investments role in the Financial Services/Insurance industry.
• Experienced in change management, including governance, leadership and delivery of change management activities.
• Strong Project management and relationship building skills.

Remuneration Package
Salary: €100,000 - €105,000
