About the Company
Our client is growing advisory firm with offices in Cork and Dublin. Due to the on going growth of the teams, they are seeking a Tax Senior Manager or Director to join the team on a permanent basis.
Working directly to the head of tax, you will take leadership of the Cork tax team and there is a clear path for progression to Partnership.
About the Position
This position would suit an ambitious tax professional with a background in top 20 tax practice looking for a clear path for career development. There is an existing portfolio and network to grow and all supports given.
The ideal candidate will have experience working across multiple tax heads, with a particular focus on corporation tax. Also open to more senior candidates, with the ability to business develop or coming across with an existing book of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and private individuals mainly in the Cork and Munster region.
- Review the work of Juniors on the team.
- Research legislation and provide technical advice to clients
- Billing and WIP management
- Working with the wider team to identify new business opportunities
- Recruit, develop, coach and mentor junior members of the team
Experience/Requirements
- CTA Qualified and or ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Circa 8+ years tax experience within Ireland in practice.
- Competent in managing a portfolio of clients
- Experience managing junior staff members
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
Remuneration Package
A market leading package commensurate with experience will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
