You will own, prioritize, and maintain the Product Backlog, including definition of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. You will also serve as the "voice of the customer" with delivery teams, representing/reinforcing the customer's perspective throughout the product realization cycle
.
Key Responsibilities
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, business analysts, developers, testers, and others to develop and execute against Product Roadmaps and Release Plans.
Continuously and transparently communicate with internal stakeholders the prioritization of the Product Backlog and the status of development efforts via Product Demos and Release Plans.
You will define, prioritize, and drive realization of the specific product vision and work with Scrum Masters to help direct, motivate, and guide the delivery teams.
You will act as the subject-matter expert for assigned products and attend all of the Scrum ceremonies.
You will break down epic-level user stories into detail-level stories consumable and testable by a scrum team and collaborate with User Experience partners in usability testing and the development of the user design.
You will provide direction and support to development and quality assurance teams and promote and drive Agile development methodology throughout the work and teams.
Experience:
Required qualifications include 3-5 years in Product Management (or related positions) in the Health Care Industry,
Experience acting as a Product Owner for multiple scrum teams, and experience developing Web-based software, ideally via Lean/Agile scrum methodology.
You should have a passion for customers and a demonstrated focus on customer experience.
You should have energy, motivation, and commitment to drive to results in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
You should have demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and garner respect from other teams.
You should work with the team and the stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of the product backlog and everyone's understanding of the items it contains.
You should also have solid interpersonal skills, passion around facilitation, empowerment, and servant leadership. Experience with defect tracking management systems such as Quality Center, Bugzilla, and Rally is required.
