HR Business Partner

About the Position

Exciting HR Business Partner role available with Global Biopharma leader based in west Dublin. This position is a long term contract offering an extremely competitive base salary and an excellent benefits package - Bonus, Healthcare and Dental plans, Pension as well as a flexible working policy, including hybrid working. This role will focus on their international teams and reports directly to the VP of HR, it will also leverage on centres of excellence and have support from a generalist and internal HR teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to support the business strategies and develop a corporate culture that attracts, retains and motivates individuals.
  • Define, develop and execute HR and change management initiatives to support organizational design, re-structures, culture development, engagement surveys and action planning etc
  • Provide HR services to areas of responsibility, ensuring business needs are met and consistent HR services are provided in all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Actively network in the HR community to develop knowledge and understanding of policies, practices and employment regulations, guide the functional HR Business Partners (based in US) on local requirements and practices and liaise with Dublin HR BP to consolidate corporate initiatives for an all international approach.
  • Act as coach and change agent to the leaders to enhance the leadership capability and support cultural and behavioural change
  • Partner with Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) to provide input into hiring processes including identifying needs, defining resourcing strategies and assisting in campaigns including assessment and selection processes and development of local onboarding.
  • Champion the Talent Review and Performance Management processes, working with the business partners to define organizational needs and capabilities, evaluate talent, support the implementation of robust succession, development and performance improvement plans and increase organizational capabilities and deliverables.
  • Manage and support the multiple annual HR programs (performance management, bonus and sales comp planning, year-end compensation processes) in line with corporate guidelines, ensuring timely and accurate execution and communication in line with protocols.
  • Manage and co-ordinate pay and benefits programs in conjunction with HR BPs, Corporate Comp & Ben, Finance and third party partners / vendors for respective employee groups
  • Manage specific employee communication & consultative body processes, including communication strategies
  • Manage HR issues or concerns (individual and collective) of a diverse nature including employee related investigations, guiding management on appropriate resolutions.
  • Work with International HR Generalist and Payroll to ensure that transactional work associated with above (e.g.: contracts, letters, personal data and actions driving payroll changes) are accurate and of a high standard
  • Compile, analyse and review data and reports on HR activities to assist business leaders in understanding key performance and service indicators to support business decisions and ensure service levels are met and accurate data and records (manual and computerized) are maintained
  • Participate in Leadership meetings and provide HR updates and support
  • Lead the International DEI Council and International Wellbeing Team and take charge of identified actions
  • Introduce, review, amend policies and handbooks in international markets when needed

Experience/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a HR, business or finance related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a generalist human resources role and 2 years’ in a business partnering capacity working across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including resourcing, employee relations, leadership development and coaching, compensation and benefits, talent management, organizational design, project and change management and HR compliance.
  • Experience in supporting leaders in an international environment and matrixed organization in both an advisory (business partnering) and operational (transactional and tactical services) capacity.
  • Experience with employee populations across various countries is essential (preferably including Germany, UK, France)
  • Additional experience gained within a HR specialism (Resourcing, L&D, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations) is advantageous
  • Able to achieve whilst working independently from functional support.
  • ;Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Comfortable operating at an operational (transactional and tactical) level, thinks strategically when needed and able to develop, evaluate and execute plans to support achievement of mid to longer term objectives.
  • Comfortable implementing and managing multiple projects across balancing conflicting priorities and challenging deadlines.
  • Results driven and comfortable working with ambiguity in fast changing environments
  • Strong assessment, influencing, coaching, consultation, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English language and ideally at least one other European language (preferably German) is advantageous

Remuneration Package

€65,000 - €85,000 plus benefits
