About the Position
🔬 Analytical Scientist required for a Pharma site in Tipperary. 💊
If you have skills in Formulation, Process Development or Tech Transfer and Tipperary is an attractive location then I want to hear from you!
This is a great opportunity to join a company as they embark on a new phase of growth. Your experience level can vary from Junior to Senior but the skillsets above are needed.
You also need to hold an EU passport or Stamp 4 as sponsorship isn't available.
Work with lead formulator to align and execute formulation and process development activities based on established protocols and procedures.
Assist in the manufacture of batches of product as required, e.g. for process development, Scale-up, Technology Transfer, stability studies or use in clinical trials.
Use appropriate statistical tools, critical evaluations, and interpretations to ensure data driven justification of formulation and manufacturing processes.
Write experimental protocols, maintain timely & reliable recording of experimental data and report output from experimental studies.
Collaboration on manufacturing process development, batch records, material specifications, process validation.
Communicate progress of projects effectively, including risks & recommend contingency plans (as required) to lead formulator or manager.
Participate in practical problem solving in relation of on-going and new projects.
Understands the principle of GMP and its requirements, SOP’s and policies as applied to pharmaceutical environments.
Understand Quality by Design concept and its application to pharmaceutical development.
Degree educated in Science, Engineering or related field.
Newly qualified or with 1-2yrs pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry experience in either formulation, process or technology development.
Experience in inhalation product development, metered dose or dry powder inhalers would be desirable, but not essential.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Able to cope with pressure and change.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
