QC Microbiology Analyst  

About the Company

Our client is a global testing lead with multiple operations across Ireland. Due to continued success and growth, they are hiring a number of QC micro analysts to support biotechnology activities.

About the Position

The purpose of this job is to perform scientific procedures and produce accurate results within the required time frame under the customer quality system, using customer company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal applicant will have the skills listed below with a degree in Microbiology or a related discipline and at least 2- 3 years’ experience within a GMP Microbiology laboratory.
  • Microbiology in-process and final product testing
  • Bioburden & Endotoxin testing
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Water utilities testing
  • Assisting lab investigations
  • Train junior members of staff
  • Perform QC samples
    Hours 7am-6pm split between 4 day week, followed by 2 day week

 

Experience/Requirements

  • BSc in Science or related 
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a GMP laboratory
  • Final product testing experience
  • Organised, accurate with strong documentation skills
