Project Manager – Global financial services consulting
This premier financial services consulting business presents an exciting opportunity in Dublin for an experienced Project Manager with a profound understanding of change management, particularly within the financial services sector.
In this role, you will serve as a crucial bridge between clients and the global Consulting team, ensuring that projects meet their time, quality, and cost objectives.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily project management, acting as the central point of contact for organization and delivery.
Take charge of project governance, encompassing stakeholder mapping, scheduling governance forums, and documentation.
Allocate adequate resources to fulfill project requirements.
Manage and oversee project plans and RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
Coordinate the execution of project tasks from inception to closure.
Foster and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, facilitating effective communication.
Record decisions and outcomes using various client-specific tools.
Assist in resolving and escalating project risks, issues, and lessons learned.
Identify and oversee cross-functional interdependencies.
Promote best practice processes and guide project teams toward desired outcomes.
Collaborate, establish strong relationships, and build consensus among key stakeholders.
Undertake additional responsibilities within the Transformation & Change lifecycle as required.
Requirements:
Demonstrated hands-on Project Management experience.
A robust background in the Financial Services sector.
Proficiency in project lifecycle principles, encompassing structured waterfall and agile approaches.
Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and communication.
Comfortable engaging with individuals at all levels within business and technology.
Proven expertise in workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and presentation.
Previous experience managing projects from inception to closure to achieve desired outcomes.
Experience in consulting or services organizations.
Accreditations such as Prince 2, AgilePM, or equivalent.
Proficiency in project tools like MS Project, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
