About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Liaising with internal and external auditors.
• General administration duties including filing and photocopying.
• Assisting the financial reporting team with month end.
• Bank account reconciliations.
• Data entry, including month end journals for rebates, prepayments etc.
• Accounting for multiple entities, including property and management companies.
• Partnering with logistics team on cost analysis and reporting
• Assist with tax compliance.
• Assisting in preparation of statutory audits
• Monthly analysis and reporting work.
• Balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Any other duties as directed by your manager.

Experience/Requirements

• Newly Qualified accountant ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ideally with 1-2 years’ PQE.
• A flexible and helpful approach.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong excel skills, high proficiency required.
• Strong work ethic, with ambition to progress.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter, motivated and comfortable working in a faced paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Effective communicator / good listener.
• Previous Retail / FMCG experience would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is of benefit but not a requirement
