About the Company
The company is a designer and manufacturer of electronic motor control solutions. It is certified to Aerospace standard AS/EN9100 for manufacturing design and aftermarket services.
About the Position
The company are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Someone with soldering skills and SMT or Surface mount experience will stand out to the client. This role is urgent, so the client would like to get interviews underway ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
Operate assembly equipment.
Prepare components for manual assembly
Operate PCB cleaning and baking equipment
Use Torque tools for assembly of specific fasteners
Assembly of PCB’s and some mechanical hardware to formal assembly procedures
Typical components handled will be printed circuit cards and electronic components
Prototype assembly work under engineering control.
Set up equipment and carry out process related measurements as required.
Perform operator machine maintenance as specified.
Inspect and rework PCB’s and components as per established criteria.
Experience/Requirements
Soldering
SMT or Surface mount experience
2 years experience in a similar role
J-STD, IPC7711/21
