My client is a global healthcare leader with multiple commercial offices and state of the art manufacturing facilities across Ireland. Their product portfolio includes Biologics, Pharmaceuticals, Devices and Diagnostics. They are a dynamic leader in the healthcare space and well regarded globally. 

About the Position

The Supply Chain specialist (SCS) will be responsible for Supply Chain activities for internal/third party customers and suppliers in order to meet volume forecast targets. 
The ideal candidate will have experience managing internal/external customers  and supplier alliances. You will be responsible for the supply chain cycle for a portfolio of pharmaceutical products. You will also be responsible for ERP-based sales and purchase order processing.
You will regularly engage with key stakeholders such as: Regulatory affairs, Procurement, Finance and QA. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Supply Chain manager in day to day operations for product supply.
  • Work with internal & 3rd party distributors and suppliers to resolve supply chain and logistics issues.
  • Lead and prepare monthly supply review meetings with internal & external partners.
  • Execute ERP-based purchase and sales order processes.
  • Receiving orders.
  • Placing purchase orders.
  • Confirm & track shipments.
  • Support accurate invoicing to customer.
  • Build relationship with carries and customs to assure timely and continuous supply.
  • Understand your customer and supplier contracts.
  • Engage with the Technical Transfer of products in your portfolio.
  • Contribute to supply chain reports.
  • Participate on ERP implementation.  

Experience/Requirements

  • Supply Chain Degree.
  • Strong experience with an ERP system.
  • Experience in the Pharma / medical device / healthcare industry.
  • Must be able to understand contracts and liability.
  • Experience performing all inventory and sales order processing transactions.
  • Experienced on SAP or Oracle-PeopleSoft is an advantage.
  • Experience with Change control, New product launches, and Tech transfers in a GMP environment, representing Supply Chain.
  • Well organised.
  • Numeric skills.
  • Professional manner.

Remuneration Package

Excellent package on offer with fantastic flexibility.
Base salary offered will depend on experience
