Refund Project Manager

Immediate Start - 1 year contract - Dublin City Centre - Hybrid Working Model

About the Position

As a Refund Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in a national project for a Refund Scheme. You'll manage the Refund Administration team, ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of the refund process. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate a complex environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing commercial reviews of refund applications, customer information, and ensuring compliance with relevant departments. You will also be responsible for data validation and reconciliation, generating reports, and managing communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team of Refund Administrators.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure team members meet their targets and objectives.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
  2. Project Oversight:

    • Oversee the end-to-end process of the Refund Scheme.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive project success.
  3. Quality Assurance:

    • Implement and maintain quality control measures in the refund process.
    • Conduct regular reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  4. Reporting and Analysis:

    • Review and analyse reports generated by the Refund Administrator.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
    • Communicate findings to senior management.
  5. Communication Channels:

    • Establish and maintain effective communication channels within the team and with relevant stakeholders.
    • Ensure timely and transparent communication regarding project updates and changes.

Experience/Requirements

  • Managerial Experience:

    • Proven experience in a managerial role in an administrative function. 
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Project Management:

    • Experience overseeing and managing projects from initiation to completion.
    • Ability to navigate complex processes and ensure project success.
  • Analytical Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and make decisions based on data.
    • Experience in reviewing and analysing reports.
    • Very strong Excel skills.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to refund schemes or financial services.
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.

Remuneration Package

  • Competitive salary range: 45,000 - 55,000
  • Full training provided
  • Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the office after initial training
  • Weekly payroll for your convenience
