Project Manager

12-18 Month Contract

About the Position

This is a hybrid role with three office days per week in the office.

The successful candidate will need to have relevant hands on experience in managing and delivering many projects and proven experience delivering on objectives and products to agreed scope on time and within budget.  

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for and deliver many IT related system and data projects across the company

• Accountable for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, quality and budget

• Implement Dynamics Nav in a new business area.

• Interpret and translate requirements into viable solutions

• Analyse baseline data on operational performance

• Identify opportunities for improvements across the business and demonstrate benefits

• Be responsible for department efficiencies identifying gaps or areas where automation can be implemented

• Understand and produce process map flows based on process improvements for projects

• Build and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders, influencing them to achieve the desired outcome and create the necessary level of commitment to enable success

• Manage projects throughout the lifecycle (initiation, resourcing, planning, status reporting, stakeholder management, delivery and closing)

• Complete Process Modelling, design and develop service blueprints and product roadmaps, challenging ways of working and present recommendations for improvements

• Create, set, monitor and maintain KPI’s across key metrics

• Prepare and facilitate workshops, collate outputs and progress relevant issues appropriately

• Working in agile delivery teams, adopting agile practices and contributing to agile characteristics

• Working within diverse teams to contribute to collective goals

• Responsible for realising benefits of outputs produced during projects, monitoring of improvements and efficiencies post project implementation

Experience/Requirements

The ideal candidate will have: 

• 3-5 years of service change experience in a digital or transformation role
• Project Management experience within a project delivery environment
• Experience working on and/or delivering technology transformation projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation
• Experience working with project management tools like MS Project, JIRA preferred
• Understanding of agile, waterfall and predictive methodologies and experience working in agile teams

Remuneration Package

Salary offered is approx. €55000-€65000 DOE.
