Mechanical Fitter – Industrial facilities

About the Company
We are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical/Maintenance Fitter to work within a team and to develop best practice in maintenance strategy across the company and fore their clients in the Cork area.

About the Position

You will work within a team of engineers on mechanical projects related to the pump industry. You will receive mentorship and guidance on projects and client management.

Within the role you will be involved in
 

• Maintenance planning and maintenance strategy development
• Detailed assessment and documentation across cost, risk, performance
• Liaise closely with the maintenance department to make sure policies are adhered to.
• Performance management across the business.
• Integrate maintenance with process improvement policies
• Provide training to the maintenance department.
• Comply with H&S and GMP regulations
• Work with high speed filling and packaging equipment

• 2 years’ experience  in maintenance/craft background
• Ideally time served
• Strong understanding of mechanical and maintenance procedures
• Commercial acumen
• Team Management
• Installation and repair experience
• Maintenance Strategy for large industrial engineering projects

You must have 2 years’ experience in a similar role to be considered.
