About the Position

In this role you will manage and co-ordinate off-site Scientific teams and their leaders to ensure the teams are operating to the highest productivity & standards. You will be managing a team of 50-60 people

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and coordinate teams.  
  • Ensure client turnaround times are established.
  • Establish and maintain clear lines of communication and rules of engagement between the client and team members.
  • Reviewing and improving commercial work practices.
  • Responsible for identifying areas where efficiencies may be improved.
  • Collaborate with senior management.
  • Handling client related queries.

Experience/Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in a related discipline is required.
  • At least 5 to 7 years’ relevant technical experience with at least 2 years at a senior leadership level.
  • Excellent leadership skills and at least 3 years previous management experience.
  • Previous responsibility for approving valid analytical measurements.
  • Knowledge of processes within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries
  • Thorough understanding of the requirements for working in a GMP environment.
  • Ability to engage with Finance and Senior Leaders regarding financial reporting.
  • Understands the financial reporting process and can strategically contribute and quickly learn new processes.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and to form strong working relationships with colleagues.
