Senior Finance Business Partner

Duties:

  • Lead the annual budget cycle, quarterly forecast, and capital budget submissions.
  • Achieve annual corporate reporting deadlines and ensure divisional targets are met.
  • Business planning activities for the budget and forecast cycles.
  • Analyse financial results whilst exploring productivity opportunities.
  • Lead the partnership of the site's commercialisation imperative.
  • Collaborate with groups to manage costings, reservations, and key investments.
  • Contribute to scenario planning for various potential pipeline products at the site.
  • Reporting on variances, completion of dashboard & oversight on monthly close activities.
  • Provide financial business partnering to leadership and their departments,
  • Develop finance performance metrics and take accountability for analysis & commentary.
  • Lead monthly Finance Council & drive Financial Stewardship and Governance at site.
  • Promote focus on site productivity initiatives and reporting required on same.
  • Contribute to site management operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement by deploying Six Sigma tools.
  • Partner with leadership in Engineering and S&T to support capital investments.
  • Contribute as a member of the Manufacturing Finance Team on system improvement projects, manufacturing productivity and staff training and development.
  • Participate in the claim and audit process with respect to tax credits & government grants.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to the management of internal financial controls.
  • Facilitate both internal and external audits including SOX compliance.
Key Criteria:
  • Min 5 years of experience in the pharma industry or a similar operating environment.
  • Strategic business partnering experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience in applying Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
  • Experience in planning, budget, and forecasting processes.
  • Understanding of inventory accounting and manufacturing variances.
  • Knowledge of SAP and BPC preferable.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in supporting major capital expenditure/start-up projects.
  • Experience in preparing applications for Irish grants, subsidies, tax incentives.
  • Leadership skills / Technical knowledge.
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills / Proactive and innovative.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines. 
  • Highly Self Motivated with ability to work independently.
