Senior Regulatory and Project Accountant
About the Company
We are partnered with an international insurance company in Dublin to recruit a senior regulatory reporting accountant to join their team. This is a new permanent position within their growing team and will report to the Head of Finance.
About the Position
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Solvency II Pillar III quarterly and annual reports.
Conduct quarterly and ad hoc Standard Formula calculations.
Contribute to the development and improvement of Solvency II reporting.
Maintain and update the Solvency II Data Repository.
Prepare qualitative narrative reporting as required.
Respond to regulatory queries in a timely manner.
Liaise with auditors for effective sign-off of Solvency II submissions.
Maintain regulatory reporting and capital reporting process manuals.
Contribute to the completion of ORSAs.
Prepare other regulatory and capital reporting deliverables.
Proactively review regulatory requirements to stay updated.
Experience/Requirements
Qualified accountant
Experience in insurance accounting, Solvency II reporting, and branch reporting an advantage.
Strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of general ledger systems, regulatory regimes, and capital reporting rules.
Project management and risk management experience a advantage.
Remuneration Package
€85,000 - €95,000
Bonus
Pension 10%
Health Insurance
25 days annual leave
Hybrid working 2-3 days a week in the office
