Learning and Organisational Development Manager
About the Position
Our client, a leading organization in North Dublin, is seeking an experienced Learning and Organisational Development Manager. This role reports into the Head of L&OD and lead a team of four L&D professionals.
This is a greenfield position, where you will take ownership and will be responsible for the development and implementation of on the learning and organisational development strategy. In this role you will have autonomy, ownership and the ability to make a company wide impact and will also have C-Suite access with a path for progression
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End L&D Model Delivery
: Lead the full L&D cycle from needs analysis to design, delivery, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Learning Management System (LMS) & E-Learning Strategy:
Management and implementation of the LMS, including the integration of LinkedIn Learning and other e-learning tools to foster digital learning.
Leadership Development
: Take ownership of the Leadership Development Strategy, designing and delivering programmes in partnership with external providers. Lead initiatives to develop current and future leaders, providing coaching and mentoring where necessary.
Leadership Coaching
: Deliver leadership coaching services, leveraging your accreditation and expertise to enhance leadership capabilities across the university.
Mentoring Programme
: Manage the Mentoring Programme, ensuring that the programme fosters effective relationships that support professional development.
Supplier Management
: Proactively manage relationships with external learning and development providers, ensuring service excellence and value for money.
Compliance Training
: Ensure that all learning and development activities meet legislative and best practice standards, particularly in relation to compliance training.
L&OD Communication Strategy
: Oversee the L&OD communication strategy, managing content for the website and ensuring staff are informed about L&D opportunities.
Budget Management
: Manage the L&OD budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet strategic and operational objectives.
Team Leadership
: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four L&D professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Experience/Requirements
A primary degree (NFQ Level 7) in a relevant area and ideally an MSc in Learning & Development, Organisational Psychology, or a related area.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Learning & Development Manager role.
Coaching accreditation with demonstrable experience in delivering leadership coaching.
Experience in managing an end-to-end L&D process, from needs analysis to evaluation and return on investment.
Proven experience managing an LMS and implementing e-learning strategies.
Strong leadership and people management experience.
Budget management experience.
Experience in data analysis and generating metric reports related to L&D performance.
Experience in implementing an LMS
A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
An excellent communicator, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
Skilled at managing change and fostering a positive organisational culture.
Remuneration Package
€75,000 - €90,000 plus benefits
