Safety Management: Develop, implement, and maintain Health and Safety management systems across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with Irish Health and Safety legislation.
• Branch Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments across over 20 sites to identify hazards, recommend solutions, and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Training & Induction: Deliver effective Health and Safety training programs and inductions to employees, and other stakeholders.
• Incident Reporting: Manage and report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses, ensuring proper investigation and follow-up actions are taken.
• Compliance: Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure projects meet statutory Health and Safety requirements.
• Ensure proper racking systems are installed, maintained and securely loaded to prevent accidents. Follow trip and fall prevention procedures by keeping walkways clear and promptly addressing hazards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Branch Managers and staff to foster a culture of safety excellence.
• Documentation and Corporate Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, audits, ESG reporting, and incident reports for internal and external review.
